I LOVE THE DRIVE BY TRUCKERS!!!!

OK-what a great show! I had such a fun time. I had an appointment to meet with the band before the show thanks to their fabulous webmistress Jenn (check out her site www.knucklesammitch.com). I brought the lovely Peaches A La Mode and our merchandise maven Mercedes with me-three girlies to collect breast autographs for my upcoming book "Thanks for the Mammaries-A Groupie's Photo Journal." Big Daddy Stage Manager came to keep us in line and enjoy the scenery. The band was cute as could be-not nearly as naughty as we'd have liked, but those southern boys (and girl-whew, she's hot) are so polite... We collected breast autographs and took some photos, went back to the parking garage to pound a flask of whiskey before going into the show. The opening band was great-I was on my 3rd dbl whiskey rocks by the time the second band came on so I wasn't really able to listen well. We met up with Jason Isbell again before they went on and told him to check out our website. He said that he'd already looked at it and noticed that a bunch of us had DBT on our "Bands/Musicians I'd most like to spend QUALITY time with." We felt honored that they had checked us out. Their set was outstanding. We were right in the front-grinnin' and dancin' for hours. Speaking of smiles-I don't think I've ever seen a band smile so much onstage. They looked like they were having a blast. I did get into a small scuffle with some city boy who shoved me onto the floor-and I guess didn't expect a girl to fight back. But he left and we enjoyed the rest of the set. Spent two hours watching Patterson Hood play a Gibson SG exactly like the one my sweetie BDSM played back when I was 15. Something about that guitar-one day my darlin' set it down and an hour later I'd lost my virginity... Anyway they rocked-the show was terrific, band was tight, bassist Shonna Tucker took a photo of our titties from onstage during the encore-we love them!!! XXX ChickadeeIm002645.jpg
